About Us
MISSION STATEMENT

To serve the needs of low-income and homeless adults, children and families through promoting voluntarism, philanthropy, providing free educational workshops, and awarding scholarships to local graduating high school students enrolled in college.

ACTIVITIES

NETWORKING and partnering with other DuPage non-profits.

INVESTING in the future of youth is a high priority for DRNC. Offering volunteer opportunities for youth 17 and older and promoting a Community Service Scholarship Program for local high school seniors.

FUNDRAISING
for local charities through participation with special events including neighborhood festivals and 5K Walk/Runs.

SUPPORTING community events and activities.

VOLUNTEERING
and providing assistance to affiliates throughout the year. 
NEW PROGRAMS FOR 2017

DRNCnfp is now partnering with two local businesses to provide educational and informational workshops.

Tamela Noel - Business and Life Skills Strategist . Public Speaker, Teacher and Workshop Facilitator. Workshop Topics include: How to find a job and keep it, What is a "Bully" and how it is affecting your life?, and How To Be the Person You Were Born To Be.

Second Stories Therapeutic Interventions . A team of licensed mental health professionals offering superior service for individuals, families, couples, and groups. Mental health services  include psychoeducational workshops, individual and family therapy, trauma-focused group therapy for adolescents (Structured Phsychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress
[SPARCS]), and parenting skills training (ACT: Raising Safe Kids).

Alive Naperville - The Alive Center serves all teens and tweens who are interested in connecting with what makes them come alive.
I Support Community -  Inside Out Club for students in K-5th grades.
Kids Matter - Empowering Parents, Kids and Communities


DRNC NFP networks and combines efforts with food pantries, clothes closets, children and youth organizations, homeless agencies and other local nonprofits by providing supplemental volunteers, financial and in-kind support that will have a positive impact, without duplication of service, to enhance and improve the lives of disadvantaged population in DuPage County.
